2024 Mat-Su Art and Media Summer Camp
The Mat-Su Youth Action Board is hosting a free Art and Media Summer Camp for young people ages 18 - 24.
Virtual Youth Empowerment
We are excited to announce our new monthly empowerment circle. This space is designed to help young Alaskans navigate life's challenges and build meaningful connections.
2022 Basketball Camp
The Mat-Su Youth Action Board (YAB) hosted its second basketball clinic. The camp focused on skill development, team-building concepts, and nutritional tips for athletes to reach their maximum potential.
2024 Point-In-Time-Count
Project Homeless Connect (PHC) events where communities supplement their Unsheltered PIT Count data collection should occur within 7 days after the PIT Count, no later than Monday, February 5, 2024.

Local, Statewide & national advocacy
In an on-going effort to improve our youth homelessness response system around the country; advocacy and leadership within Youth Action Boards are key to making a meaningful change within our youth-specific services. The Mat-Su Youth Action Board has taken a huge community role in creating a “good path” for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness or at-risk of being homeless.

The Mat-Su Youth Action Board hosted Art of the Mind’s Eye in partnership with the Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness.
